Al-Es’af special program is the heart of Swastamandiri Accounting School. We pursue students to enhance their understanding on both Accounting and Islamic Economics. This dual curriculum provides more opportunities for the students wether they want to continue their master degree or working in companies either in general and Islamic financial institutions.
In order to optimize the learning experience we provide 24 hours boarding system. Students could stay in campus dormitory. We try to balance the studying with the praying. Twice a week we have “Sholat Tahajud Berjamaah” program and we also encourage students to speak in English on their daily acitvities. The fiqh muamalah subjects, the heart of Islamic Economics, will be given in 3 years. In order to increase the knowledge in Islamic Economics, we provide Tafsir and memorising verse in Quran that discuss Islamic Economics.
We use English literature books for most of our subjects and also provide e-journal. We divide our subjects into three level, they are heavy, medium, and light. Heavy level is designed for core subjects in Accounting. The heavy level subjects will be hold twice a week, theory and tutorial class. Tutorial class will discuss homework which is given every week. We want to ensure that students take their opportunities in understanding the subjects.
Students on semester 8th will be directed for applying internship program in Islamic Finance Institution in Surakarta. We had established the good relationship with Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah (MES) Surakarta.
Students graduated from Swastamandiri Accounting School with a good English score would be supported to take Master degree abroad by applying available scholarships.
